The rules for using our store
Welcome to VinylTuneIn. "We," "us," and "our" refer to VinylTuneIn. We operate this store, including all its content, features, and tools (the "Services"), on Shopify. These Terms describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services, alongside our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. By visiting or using our Services, you agree to be bound by all of these. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
1. Access & your account
By using the Services, you confirm you're at least the age of majority where you live, and you've consented to any minor dependents using the Services on a device you manage. When you check out or create an account, the information you give us (email, billing, shipping) needs to be accurate and complete. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account, and you may not sell, transfer, or license it to anyone else.
2. Our products
We do our best to represent every Music Box, disc, and accessory accurately, but colors and finishes can look slightly different depending on your screen. We don't guarantee that a product will match your screen exactly. Descriptions, pricing, and availability can change at any time, and we may limit quantities or discontinue a product at our discretion.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy — we can accept or decline it for any reason, and an order isn't confirmed until we accept it and process your payment. Please double-check your order before submitting, since we may not be able to accommodate cancellations after it's accepted. If we change or cancel an order, we'll try to reach you using the details from checkout. Returns and exchanges follow our Refund Policy. Orders are for your own personal use, not for commercial resale.
4. Prices & billing
Prices can change without notice; you'll pay the price shown at checkout, confirmed in your order email. Posted prices don't include tax, shipping, or import charges unless stated. Promotions have their own terms, which take priority if they conflict with these Terms. You agree to keep your payment and contact details accurate, and confirm that any card you use is yours to use and that charges will be honored by your card issuer.
5. Shipping & delivery
Delivery times in our Shipping Policy are estimates, not guarantees. We're not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or anything else outside our control. Once we hand a package to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you.
6. Intellectual property
Everything on this site — our name, logo, text, images, and design — belongs to VinylTuneIn or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You can use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. Shopify's name and branding belong to Shopify. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
7. Third-party tools & links
The Services may link to third-party tools or websites we don't control and haven't reviewed. Any use of these is at your own risk, and we're not liable for their content, accuracy, or practices — check their own terms before relying on them.
8. Relationship with Shopify
VinylTuneIn runs on Shopify, but any purchase you make is a transaction directly with VinylTuneIn — not Shopify. Shopify isn't responsible for anything relating to our products or your purchase, including any loss or damage that might result from them.
9. Privacy
Any personal information we collect is handled according to our Privacy Policy, and some of it may also be subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you're confirming you've read both.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or reviews, you're giving us permission to use them freely — including commercially — without any obligation to pay you or keep them private. You confirm that anything you send is genuinely yours to share and doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights, and that it doesn't contain anything unlawful, abusive, or harmful (including malware).
11. Errors on our site
Occasionally, something on our site — a price, description, or availability — might be wrong. We can correct errors, update information, or cancel an affected order at any time, even after you've placed it.
12. Acceptable use
Please use our Services lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to use them for anything illegal, harassing, or fraudulent; to infringe on our or anyone else's rights; to spread spam, viruses, or malware; to scrape or collect other users' information; or to interfere with the site's security or normal operation. We can suspend or close your account at any time if we believe these Terms have been violated.
13. Ending this agreement
We may end your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, without notice — you'll still owe us for anything due up to that point. Sections meant to survive termination (like Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply.
14. No warranties
Content on our Services is provided for general information, and we don't guarantee it's complete or accurate — use it at your own risk. Except where we've said otherwise, the Services and our products are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we don't promise the Services will always be available, timely, or error-free. Some regions don't allow limiting warranties like this, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VinylTuneIn, our team, and Shopify won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — like lost profits or lost data — arising from your use of the Services or our products, even if we were told such damages were possible.
16. Indemnification
You agree to cover us (and Shopify) for any losses or claims — including legal fees — that come from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or someone else's rights, or your use of the Services.
17. If a part of these Terms doesn't hold up
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies in full.
18. Waiver & entire agreement
If we don't enforce part of these Terms on one occasion, that doesn't mean we're waiving our right to enforce it later. These Terms, along with our other posted policies, make up the whole agreement between you and us, replacing any earlier versions or understandings.
19. Assignment
You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to someone else without our written consent. We can transfer ours without needing your consent or notifying you.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where VinylTuneIn is based, and any related disputes fall under the courts of that jurisdiction.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version here — it's worth checking back occasionally. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
